The Advancing Clinical Trial Readiness (ACTR) Initiative, spearheaded by ARPA-H’s Resilient Systems Office (RSO), aims to revolutionize clinical trials by developing a decentralized, efficient, and accessible infrastructure.
Overview of Solicitation
The ACTR Initiative is focused on creating tools, networks, and infrastructure to enable decentralized and on-demand clinical trials. By integrating cutting-edge technology and fostering innovation, ACTR seeks to ensure that 90% of eligible Americans can participate in clinical trials within 30 minutes of their homes.
To achieve this goal, the ACTR initiative seeks innovations in three key areas:
- Tools for automatic clinical trial data collection and standardization
- Improvements in identification and engagement of potential trial participants
- Enhancements in decentralized data curation and auditing
