The Joint Army Contracting Command and the Joint COVID Response Division (ACC-JCRD) recently published a solicitation seeking Commercial Solutions to decrease US reliance on fragile global supply chains and increase preparedness for future pandemics. The solicitation seeks to establish, expand, and accelerate the availability of domestically-produced supplies in several different areas, some of which may be of interest to you. These areas of interest include consumables for manufacturing and bioprocessing, delivery devices and vials for vaccines and therapeutics, fill/finish capacity, raw materials for drug and device manufacturing, cold storage, and supply chain security. The location of the capacity expansion must be within US territory and must be operational within 36 months of award. Awards will be made using both contracts based on the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Other Transaction authority agreements, both of which are well known to EverGlade. Solution briefs that are at most five pages in length must be submitted by 15 JUL 2021.
