Tyler Kessler has extensive experience in accounting and finance as a public accountant, conducting audit services in accordance with US GAAS, US GAAP, and SEC guidelines. Tyler has performed audits on clients of many industries including Government Contracting, Not-For-Profit, Technology, and Real Estate.
Tyler has since transitioned his career solely focusing on the government contracting industry. Most recently he has assisted companies in the life sciences, biodefense, energy, and not-for-profit sectors successfully navigate the federal procurement process. Tyler has extensive experience developing cost and price proposals for funding opportunities with HHS and DOD as well as design and implementation of accounting, procurement, and compliance processes.
Tyler also has experience working on behalf of contractors, as well as the government, including audits of Incurred costs and Indirect rates. Working closely with client management, he has assessed business processes for compliance risks associated with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and both Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Business System requirements
