Flavio Carpio is experienced in government contracting, having recently served as the financial point of contact for the Metals Affordability Initiative III program. His portfolio included accounting and financial services for metallurgical research and development programs as well as OCONUS programs. Over the past 6 years, he has worked with DLA, AFRL, NIWC, USAF, USACE, and DCMA.
With this experience Mr. Carpio has developed extensive knowledge in preparing proposals, monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports, billing, as well as contract modifications, and project close-out. Additionally, he has worked in Germany supporting USEUCOM programs and is experienced in reviewing German/EU invoices and documents as they relate to accounting and finance.
Prior to this he played DII rugby for Radford University and was a founding member of the College Mentors for Kids RU Chapter.
