BARDA Funding

The Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) provides funding opportunities aimed at developing and procuring necessary medical countermeasures, such as vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics, for public health emergencies.

These opportunities are typically available through Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs/EZ-BAAs), the BARDA Accelerator Network, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) like the Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Preparedness Consortium (BioMaP-C) and the Rapid Response Partnership Vehicle (RRPV). Outside of solicitations, BARDA also accepts novel technologies through its TechWatch program, in which companies are able to present their promising MCM products, technologies, and capabilities.
