Mary Chalkley holds a Ph.D. in Cell & Developmental Biology from Vanderbilt University, with a technical background in the development of the nervous system, cell signaling pathways, innovative stem cell and organoid technologies, and neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders. At EverGlade Consulting, she applies her scientific expertise to support technical aspects of the proposal and post award phases for work with government agencies. She further brings a collaborative and attention to detail mindset that allows her to work effectively in cross-functional teams to complete successful projects.
Dr. Chalkley performed her graduate studies in the laboratories of Kevin Ess, MD PhD, and Rebecca Ihrie, PhD, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Joe Mazzulli, PhD, at Northwestern University. Her research led to the publication of multiple manuscripts with interdisciplinary topics as well as awards and presentations at numerous international conferences.
