Spencer Haroldson is a Consultant at EverGlade with experience in agricultural and microbial biotechnology, as well as human health. He earned his master’s degree studying Microbial Biotechnology at North Carolina State University, where he led student consulting projects addressing business challenges faced by biotech companies. Spencer engaged in research across plant pathology, crop genetics and breeding, and bacteriophage engineering laboratories. While working in the laboratory, Spencer developed a strong skill set in molecular and agricultural biotechnology. He conducted genetic cloning experiments, implemented field trials, and authored articles for NC State’s Extension program, assisting farmers in identifying and treating plant diseases.
Complementing his technical skillset, Spencer is an MBA candidate within NC State’s STEM-designated Jenkins MBA program. Before becoming a member of the Wolfpack, Spencer was a Division-I student-athlete at Charlotte where he played baseball and gathered several academic honors. In his free time, Spencer enjoys backpacking, exercising, cooking, and expanding his knowledge of biology.
