JPEO Funding
Focuses on chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense medical countermeasures.
JPEO-CBRND collaborates with several federal agencies and departments, both within and outside the DoD. This includes partnerships with the Department of Energy (DOE) on radiological and nuclear defense matters, HHS for medical countermeasures, and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for ensuring civilian safety. The collaborations extend to industry partners and academic institutions that contribute cutting-edge research and innovation.
MTEC (Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium)
Focuses on accelerating the development of medical technologies for military and civilian use.
Medical CBRN Defense Consortium (MCDC):
Created to advance development efforts to support the DoD’s medical, pharmaceutical, and diagnostic requirements as related to enhancing the mission effectiveness of military personnel.
Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Consortium (CWMD):
Created to advance development efforts to support the DoD’s ability to detect, prevent, and protect individuals and groups and enhance military readiness.
