ARPA-H Funding

Accelerates transformative health technologies, including cancer treatments and precision medicine tools. ARPA-H makes pivotal investments in breakthrough technologies and broadly applicable platforms, capabilities, resources, and solutions with the potential to advance areas of medicine and health that cannot readily be accomplished through traditional research or commercial activity.

Innovative Solutions Openings (ISOs):

  • Program Specific: Big ideas presented for industry consideration by ARPA-H’s Program Managers. These are solicited as focused opportunities with intent of transforming health care. Examples include CATALYST, GLIDE, HEROES, POSEIDON, PRECISE-AI, INDEX, and OCULAB.
  • Mission Office: This is a mechanism for industry to submit funding applications on a rolling basis outside of the Program ISOs. The current MOISOs include: Health Science Futures, Proactive Health, Resilient Systems, and Scalable Solutions.

Research Initiatives

These seek rapid research sprints to accelerate innovations in a specific area. One example is the inaugural Sprint for Women’s Health.
